Microsoft Dynamics NAV 2009 Retail Seminar Review
Microsoft Dynamics NAV 2009 Retail Seminar was successfully held on 11 Nov 2009 at The Mira Hong Kong in Tsim Sha Tsui. The seminar was attracted hundred participants to celebrate the launch of Microsoft Dynamics NAV 2009 Retail Integrated solutions.
With the great support of Microsoft, HP, AsiaPac and ReasonableSpread, they exhibited several advanced retail solutions. We were also invited Imperial Bird's Nest International Ltd. to share their management vision and business strategies to make it fruitful.

Ms. Wan Luk, Project Manager and Ms. Amy Ou, Senior Solutions Manager of ACW Solutions showed us how to apply Microsoft Dynamics NAV into retail industry. They pointed out that understanding consumer preferences, maintaining optimal inventory level and performing accurate business analysis were the challenges to retailers. Microsoft Dynamics NAV 2009 integrated from POS to head office business operation into the same platform which made it possible to set up promotion campaigns, merchandising, inventory, replenishment plans and perform accurate sales forecast.
In the panel discussion, Eddy was the facilitator. Mr. Byron Au, Project Manager of ACW Solutions, Mr. Samson Chu, Managing Director and Ms. Bertha Lee, Business Director of Imperial Bird Nest Int'l Ltd. were invited to be the speakers to share their vision and keys to success and discuss how to support management with innovative IT. The seminar was enthusiastic about their lively discussion.
Online e-business was another important topic to retailers. Ms. Christine Chong, Marketing Director of AsiaPac, unlocked the secret of being the top 500 world-class online e-business. She suggested that a successful online shop should clearly show the present location of the user, provide concise information on products, high-definition pictures, color and size. AsiaPac also provided search engine marketing service such as Yahoo! keywords search to fine-tune the elements of your website to improve its search engine rankings and increase online coverage.
In the last two sessions, Mr. Karson Mak, Product Marketing Manager of HP introduced how unleash your business potential with HP ProLiant DL170h G6 Server.
Mr. Frederick Ko, Senior Financial Account Manager - HP Financial Services of HP introduced new installment plan to reduce one-off investment and financing burden.
